My career has moved from building industrial augmented-reality applications to leading products, advising strategic enterprise customers, and developing global technical teams.

I have always been most effective where technology, customer reality, and organizational execution meet. I enjoy understanding a complex system deeply enough to find the real issue, then translating that understanding into decisions that engineers, customers, and executives can act upon.

Leadership, to me, means more than directing the immediate work. It means building the feedback loops, knowledge, competencies, and working relationships that allow a team to carry the work forward.

Eight years in the Virginia Army National Guard, where I advanced to Sergeant, reinforced the importance of preparation, accountability, adaptability, and calm decision-making under pressure.

I am based in Williamsburg, Virginia and open to remote work and selected relocation opportunities.

Building a deterministic game universe with AI-assisted engineering workflows

Outside my professional work, I am developing a Unity-based game as a hands-on exploration of procedural generation, developer tooling, automated quality practices, and agent-assisted software development.

Through an iterative development workflow with Codex—defining requirements, reviewing generated implementations, running tests, and correcting behavior—the project has produced a deterministic universe generator spanning multiple regions of space, more than 150 planets, and the metadata needed to support future gameplay systems. The same process has produced Unity Editor tools for visualizing and inspecting the generated universe.

Alongside the game itself, I use AI-assisted development agents to reinforce engineering discipline: checking that public methods have meaningful unit-test coverage, validating that tests remain functional, maintaining XML documentation, and coordinating development builds when changes reach the main branch.

The codebase is approaching 100 unit tests, and development is now moving into the gameplay systems that define the player’s core experience within individual solar systems.

The value of the experiment is not simply producing code faster. It is learning how AI can participate in a controlled engineering workflow while deterministic systems, automated tests, documentation, source control, and human review remain the foundation.
